Social Work Department
The Social Work Department can help you continue to live independently in your own home. If appropriate, they can also advise you and support you in moving into sheltered housing or a care home.
Services are provided by your local authority Social Work Department. They will discuss your needs with you and, if you are eligible, they will give you a care plan. This plan will set out details of the help you will receive. The Social Work Department can provide a range of services including a home help, and equipment and housing adaptations to help you live independently.
