A popular men’s magazine has hired four centenarians as agony uncles. The magazine did not think that the current rash of celebrities make good role models for young men. Instead they went in search of their own “real heroes”.
With a combined age of 409 the four columnists have more experience than most, and are more than willing to give their advice. In their first columns, the men answer questions on subjects ranging from career problems to travel and relationships.
When asked by a man in his late 20s whether he should give in to his girlfriend's wish to get married - even though he's not in love with her – one of the writers replied: "If you don't like her, then why the hell are you with her? You want shooting for that attitude.”
