The Big Spring Walk

Help the Aged is calling on everyone to organise walks on the weekend of 28 and 29 April. The aim of the event, called the Big Spring Walk, is to raise funds to help disadvantaged older people.

As well as hoping that people will organise walks with friends, family, neighbours or work colleagues, Help the Aged is organising its own events throughout the UK during April.

In addition to being a fun day for a good cause, Help the Aged is promoting the benefits of walking as a way of staying fit and healthy. The message is that it is never too late to start exercising and that walking is a great way to keep active, whatever your age.
